Dr. Pasu Sirisalee is a principal researcher at Assistive Technology and Medical Devices Research Center (A-MED) under the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation. He is also a team leader of the A-MED Translational Research Accelerator team, responsible for disseminating and commercializing A-MED research. He earned his Ph.D. in Engineering Design from the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom, and B. Eng. (1st class honors, gold medal) From Chulalongkorn University, Thailand. His expertise is in the medical device product development process and commercialization. He has been involved in developing various commercialized medical devices such as Dental CT, Digital X-ray, Patient lift, and other medical devices. He also serves as a secretary of the policy and strategy working group under the BCG (Bio-Circular-Green Economy) Medical Devices and Digital Health subcommittee. He received various awards, such as the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT) Research Award, the Outstanding Technologist Award from the Foundation for the Promotion of Science and Technology under the Patronage of His Majesty the King, and several international invention awards.
